You went to JBT, downloaded tons of files, then you went to BWW saying everything you've got was correpted, incomplete or had bad quality .... and then you come back to ask for more? What happens with you guys?

The members here have done a lot more for this community than either of you have. Differences of opinion are differences of opinion Iain. Facts are facts. Please read the acknowledgements section of Pegg's book - page 640. Zigs

Guys..... don't think it's very constructive to start this whole discussion from scratch again. JBT and WTR are two different sites. Both have things in common like sharing audio in mp3 format and hosting from our personal pc's. But there are also differences. I have always believed and still believe there is room for different Bowie sites on the WWW. From the beginning that I got involved in Bowie sites I was astonished by the rivalry between some members of different sites. I've been called all kind of things, but as far as I know the only crime I've commited is sharing Bowie bootlegs.... (maybe not in the format you prefer, but that's our choice.... ) Freecloud

This fighting is really boring.
It won't takes us anywhere.
Saloca, please, i don't like your comments like "we're are doing thing for the community and you don't", etc, etc. This is not a competition. I really hate those kind of things. the critic is that you share mp3 in slow connections and there are people that don't like that. Instead they were members of SJ. ok? that's all. Nowadays anyone could check if an audio CD came from mp3 or not so i don't mind about the existence of JBT. A donation system could actually work and is needed to do things in the right way and also could give more participation from members.
And the rest. You are here because you want high quality material from Bowie. We're trying to set a new site, a new tracker and a new forum. Focus on this. There's plenty of room on the net for all the bowie sites people want to create. Don't fight for this kind of things that doesn't really matters.
SJ did a huge thing for bowie community for a year and a half. It was a great effort, so to create something like that we have to check things, try new trackers and message boards and look for people who know how to do this and have time to do it.
PD: no post will be deleted.

^^^ Well Done ! ^^^ A very clear and concise post. You answered my questions before I had a chance to ask !! ps I believe a $5 a month donation per user, is a very reasonable and sustainable estimate. I have always had "good luck" using PAYPAL. Any thoughts? Yes This is what we need - servers.aplus.net/standard.htmlA dedicated server, it would be perfect for a torrent site, and have plenty of resources/room for expansion. $99 per month. (Can We) Do That ?

First of all, Dopazo, i am not here to get anything from you, on the contrary, most of your members are getting stuff from us under hidden names... but it doesn't matter... I came here because you have criticized DVds shared on my site. I came here to say you should stop criticising what others are doing and start doing something yourselves. SJ was a great place but it was.... Now a days you are really doing nothing but still criticizing and attacking us because of the mp3 thingy. I don't think i am better than none of you. I've been avoiding visiting MDTM and SJ just to don't get upset with your sarcastiscs comments. I am not interested in the system you are planning. But please, do not say you hate something all your members are doing since a long time, since JBT and WTR wasn't even been created: a competition. And more, sorry, but i have to say, most of you guys don't have even one percent of respect for other people. You have called freecloud as pregnant dog, you have said you have more important things to do instead of talking to us to solve the ban problems, you go to our "houses" to get stuff and criticize us everythime, everywhere.... Sincerely, you have your rights if you don't like mp3 format. And we have our rights as well. You think your way is right, we think our way is right. We could be a big group but you have started this war, not us.

whats with the "war" thing. Its all a matter of free speech. Like I said before I really dont care what kind of site you or anybody else runs. I really dont see any point in keep dragging this matter up, it really doesn't go anyhere. The point I'm making is you guys go run whatever site you want to run and do whatever and if ppl want to download from your site they are most welcome. If they want to say that the music is good, then fine. If they want to say it is nuts, then fine too. Tom with your own site, that is a contribution and thats what the pegg is all about I guess. And the sites in discussion here are contributing too to certain ppl. The thing I really dont like is that as soon as the word "bad" or "poor quality" or "incomplete" shows up in a sentence along with yur site name, you both appear on whatever site and do what you are doing here. I dont see the point in that?
Why come over here in the first place?
Saloca if you want a war, which it seems you like, then please join the army. No ne here or anywhere else is interested.
All the best to you both in your site and have a nice day.
