You're right dodo. I'm thinking how much work and money could cost a new site and, most important, who could help to build this new site with a new name.
Maybe i'm not the one that will create it but i'm thinking and looking for some solutions for this.

Is it worth running some sort of poll/competition to find a new name for the site? good idea. send the names all of you have and i'll run a poll to find the new name and start a new phase in this community

I like those ideas, and I think clever play-on-word type titles could be a good idea. But, do we want to attract the person looking for live Bowie recordings, typing a few keywords into google? That was me once, and I got nowhere fast, it took me ages to find Savage Jaw. Maybe if we want to attract more "customers" then we need a very simple name. BowieLive, BowieDownloads, BowieConcerts etc. Something that will be typed into a search engine. But maybe, we want to remain off the radar for as long as possible?

I don't really think "staying off the radar" is that big of an issue. For example, www.u2torrents.com is a pretty darn big U2 bootleg tracker and they don't hide it all.

WeesamI know what you mean. I think when you build and publish web sites you have the ability to tag key words to it for searches. So the name could be any thing at all but the tag word would be Bowie,Bowie torrents,David Bowie etc etc etc I do stand to be corrected though.

you're right zippy. whatever name we decide we must include tags like bowie, bootlegs, concerts, etc. so it would appear on google (or other search engine, anybody still use altavista? )
