Reading the first two pages, I read many questions, how we suggest we could contribute, etc...I must say that what I really appreciated at first about MDTM was that it answered many technical problems, there wasn't any waste of time in silly sentences and praises, no useless arguments and no nauseating conversations as in many other sites...still, after a while I realised it was TOO technically oriented, and maybe the way to create some sort of community is to give some more space to other kind of threads...like for example discussing bowie's discography, his works, compare periods, in other words, talk about his past and present works. Also, why not, a collectionist addressed topic, where people can ask questions on boots, silvers, official works, etc, to those that have more knowledge. Or a topic on texts, which to my advise are a fascinating part of bowie's works. So, apart from torrents and technical problems, surely there could be many more intersting topics that would draw people into the forum, and give them the inspiration to write. The idea of letting everyone upload risking lossy material, or mp3s, is not for me a good idea, it would not distinguish the site from many others which I don't mention for fair play. Better less uploads and less people uploading, but good ones. But mostly to create a community people should talk more and get to know each other a bit, grow fond of their forum.

I think it is safe to assume that I AM THE DRUNKEN WELSHMAN.
My point to Bewlay was that I enjoyed the forum before it became awash with torrent discussion. Mind you Bowie does so little now, there is not much to discuss about the man.
I hope Chris and his family are OK. Certainly looks that way!
Perhaos this will become a nice home!

Hail to all the drunken Welshmen, and girls, of course! Good to see you on board Keith, greetings from wet Aberystwyth! (PS. to all the members, remember that Jones is a very Welsh name, so therfore David is really from the Principality, Dai the Song, indeed.)
