I have been loaned a number of "rare" Bowie material from someone attic. They are interested in current values. Could you help and give me a ball park price for the following
Space Oddity (single) Philip's BF1801 Mono version also as above but printed in the Lebanon in 1969??
Man of Words Man of Music Mercury SR61246 (USA)
MWSTW Cartoon Cover SR61325 (USA)
Slaughter in the Air (colour cover)
David Bowie Special Japanese DBL SRA9503
There are a number of other things that I can deal with as I have them myself and know they are not valuable. Any help onthe others will go a long way. Cheers Zippy

Probably the easiest way would be to check some of the sales on Ebay.
Of course the best prices will be given for those items in best condition.
Cheers, Goblin.

Hi,
Just a quick estimation: Space Oddity (single) Philip's BF1801 Mono version Around $20
also as above but printed in the Lebanon in 1969?? If this is really a Lebanese 1969 edition around $200
Man of Words Man of Music Mercury SR61246 (USA) $80-100
MWSTW Cartoon Cover SR61325 (USA) Scratched matrix in runout groove $20 Pressed matrix in runout groove $50
Slaughter in the Air (colour cover) $60
David Bowie Special Japanese DBL SRA9503 $35 including OBI
Prices are for at least VG editions, depending of course on when and where you sell them. I guess that Lebenese single will fetch a very good price on Ebay with a good description, some very fanatic 7" collectors there.

The version of WEBFF on the Lebonese single has a spoken intro by David " The WEBFF with Paul Buckmaster" while the Philips 45 WEBFF don't? Indeed, most of the Euro 7"es for Space Oddity have this version of WEBFF, I think only the US and UK versions don't (I only have the German and Dutch versions myself, so correct me if I'm wrong). The new version of the S+V boxset has this version with spoken intro by the way.

Cheers Maarten, I have just this minute finished playing the two SP/WEBFF stuff and sadly they are faulty with bad jumps on 3 of the 4 sides Thanks for the estimations on the others some research here eil.com/shop/artistlist.asp?artistname=david-bowie has produced some very interesting (but inflated) prices. Happy to see any other thoughts
